Is the free version enough?
For many sites, yes. It shows a compliant banner, blocks Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and YouTube until consent, supports Google Consent Mode v2 and keeps a consent log. Choose Pro if you use other trackers, need different rules for US visitors, or want to export your records.
What counts as a site?
Each WordPress website where Pro is active uses one licence. On a multisite network, each subsite counts as a site.
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes. Your settings, cookie lists and consent log stay as they are when you upgrade.
Will it slow down my website?
No. Visitors load one small script and one stylesheet, with no jQuery and no requests to other servers. It also works with page caching.
Does it work with Google Tag Manager?
Yes. Turn on Google Consent Mode v2 and your Google tags follow each visitor's choice. Every choice is also sent to the dataLayer as an event you can use as a trigger.
