  1. Install the plugin

    Add it from Plugins → Add New and activate it.

  2. Enter your number

    Your WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business number with the country code. Spaces, + signs and dashes are removed for you.

  3. Choose the look

    Pick the position, style, size and colour, watch the live preview, and save.

Questions

Is there a paid version?

No. Kareva Chat Button is completely free, with every feature included and no upgrade prompts.

Which number format should I use?

The full international number with the country code and no leading zeros, for example 919876543210 for India or 447700900123 for the UK. Spaces, + signs and dashes are removed automatically.

Does it work with WhatsApp Business?

Yes. Use the number of your WhatsApp Business account.

Does the button need cookie consent?

No. The button sets no cookies and loads nothing from WhatsApp until a visitor clicks it.

Can I show the button only on some pages?

Use "Hide on pages" for a few pages, or the kareva_cb_show filter for anything more specific.

Why is the default green darker than WhatsApp's?

White text on WhatsApp's bright green is hard to read for many people. The default is a deeper shade of the same green that meets the WCAG AA contrast guideline. You can pick any colour; the settings warn you if the contrast is low.
